The design of www.amazon.com is good. It has fulfilled almost all of the features of a good web site which are text, navigation, links, graphics and general design.

Text

The background does not interrupt the text. It can be easily read and is comfortable for visitor. Besides, the text is big enough to read, but not too big. The hierarchy of information is perfectly clear and different products are categorized into different department.
